The Plumber Made a Big Mistake!

Cutting the bottom framing (the chord) of a floor truss or I-Joist is not permitted.  Cutting the bottom cord eliminates the strength of the engineered framing member.

Are Your Wall Studs Supported Properly?

Many times the wall studs need to be bored out to allow for the mechanical systems to come through.  However, once the wall studs are bored out they lose strength.  To resolve this issue metal shoe studs need to be added and secured properly.
